Two paintings - counter works - of an unknown Southern German painter
around 1770/1780
1. In front of a parapet and view over the high walls of a baroqie park in
the French manner: left on a bench lady with guitar, near her, right, a boy
with a flute and a girl with a page of notes, behind them on the right a
violinist waiting like the others for his entry,
in the right low corner with the back up a special kind of lute
paintings with Venetian companies usually decorated the "Venetian
rooms" like, for example, in the WĂźrzburger Residenz.
Oil on canvas
measures in centimetres: 80 X 109,5
original inner frame, partly gold-plated outer frame in the rococo manner
a bit later 19th century
