Provenance: Brussels resp. Vienna, 18th century

life painter, born 1672 in Brussels, died 3rd of jan. 1737 in Vienna,
worked at the court of the princes of Lichtenstein adn Schwarzenberg,
court in Berlin, from 1718 onwards Castle Laxenburg Vienna, from 1709
onwards academy member in Vienna
Hamilton's special gift was the depiction of animal chases and other
hunting pieces, horse- and dog portraits, riding schools and still lives with
dead deer.
